The main event of the arrival of the Wildduck, Doug, winding down from a trip that took him from Burning Man to Seattle, to Vancouver, driving another Couchsurfer's car across the continent to Boston with side trips to Woodstock and Manhattan in New York. Yes, he has a lot of stories.
Doug arrived on the first of October on Hawaiian. Tashi and I met him at the airport. Because of my bandage, I wasn't as quick on the draw to snap photos, but I will post many as I continue through this Artmail. There are going to be some changes made to boomerangart.com. For one thing, I will only do one or two dated Artmails per month instead of trying for one per week. I will add to the current Artmails with an update notice. I'll explain about the new direction as I go along. The photos with Doug will be farther into this Artmail. I'm trying to "catch up."

When one is right-handed and that hand suffers a severe hot oil burn, just about all regular activities will be shut down while the slow healing takes place. Even now, the bandage irritates the healing wound as I type this. It is easier to relax and get some reading and thinking done, instead. The accident happened one month ago yesterday.

I searched around for a copy of my boomerang flying instructions that has a copy of the picture I drew of how I hold a boomerang for flying. I found a lot of interesting "things" from Boomerang Art days in the early 90's.
