I haven't been taking many photos. I've been staying at 15B scanning old slides and photos. During breaks, I've been re-reading books I shipped from the mainland. It is amazing how much I had fogotten about each. It's a good experience...I'm enjoying the the re-readings a lot.

Kai is a student taking the long way to school in Port Elizabeth, South Africa to study computer engineering. From Kaua'i, he is going to Big Island, then to Tahiti, New Zealand, Australia the to Africa. He rented an Island Car and used 15B as a base, but slept in his tent at Polihale. He drove to various sites on the island during his time here.
