Again, I haven't been taking many photos other than progress on painting Greenbacks. Gilbert and Dallas left for New York yesterday. Last week, I was at their place to say goodbye and took a few photos.

I'm continuing to experiment with acrylics on cocofiber. It's interesting, but time-consuming. I'll explain more about this project later.

These pieces of cocopalm fiber from my former palm partner at 9C are going to be painted by me. aThe Purple Feather Greenbacks are made from the fiber that held the palm frond onto the cocopalm's trunk.

After being cleaned and trimmed, I paint them with gesso then with acrylics.
They are going to be like lottery tickets to generate sponsorship dollars for my boomerangart.com FREE website. There will be fifty PF Greenback photos...one for each of this first batch of PF Greenbacks. After all 50 PF Greenbacks have found sponsors, I will have a drawing and the winning PF Greenback number holder will pick one of of these Purple Feather People to own from Numbers: 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, or 28. (I may not have updated the PFP's photos, yet). A PF Greenback sponsorship information may be obtained by contacting me at boomerangart@yahoo.com. ("Greenbacks" in subject, please). One PF Greenback is currently valued at US$25. There will be fifty in this first issue...The Santa Hats started it. (I'm a little late for this season, but early for the next).
