It's 8:45 the morning of the 31st and I'm at the Kekaha Neighborhood Center Pavilion working at my computer station. Clifford just left for Polihale. (Dallas & Gilbert and others are going to start a 5-day permit and we'll set up a camp in No. 4, probably). Here's the 8:45 photo of my workstation.

I still don't know when I will fly to the Mainland. I have a meeting on the 8th with top management of Kekaha Ha'aheo from Honolulu. Kalalau Ron is in town. Jeanne, his sister, has been driving him around...she offered to drive me to my storage locker to dig for papers for that meeting. Maybe we'll do that during the August 4th - 8th camping happening...she'll be at Polihale, too.
This weekend was a birthday happening, beginning on the 27th and ending yesterday (30). Here are some photos (most reduced to 30%) starting at Polihale Cane Top:

More Ohana started showing up. Kalalau Ron (the Mayor) and his famous bamboo flutes. Kolo's son, Sol, is playing flute. That's Polihale Patrick (or Kalalau Beach Boy Patrick) who kayaked from Kalalau bringing the drum that Sol carved several years ago.
