Aloha all...
I have a lot of different things to work on for this Artmail, but some of that will have to be put up tomorrow or the next day. When I was working on Artmail 80, there was a knock on the door. It was RJ. He was coming for the present that I wasn't here to give him because I went to Polihale on the 23rd. I took a few photos. He wanted to play one of the educational games on the computer. Then his sister, Lani, rode by on her bike and saw his bike on my walk. She's a computer whiz and told him what to do then sat back and watched. Then she played. We got other CDs with more games. Then it was time to go and I came back in here and uploaded Artmail 80. Here are the photos:

That now-dried palm frond base, next to the improvised computer station, is the last one I collected from Polihale. It will have a special place with the Purple Feather People.

I plan to put PFP 13 up for auction on eBay sometime. PFP 13 has gone through a lot of changes. Back in November 2001, I had prepared these twelve Polihale palm fronds to paint during 2002:

When I decided to do the Purple Feather People project, these palm frond bases would be numbers 1 through 12. The original No. 1 is becoming The Impostor, now Kanaloa is No. 1. Anyway, after I had been painting on most of these 12, I went to the Double Burner Pavilion to find some more palm fronds. There were none left. The ones that I expected to get were burned and ruined. I searched around to see if I could find any palm frond bases that might work. The one below is the only one I found. It was even rejected for burning. Is there a face in there? I decided that this one will become Number 13:
