Aloha all...
I have lived in Kekaha for the last ten years. Before that, Hanapepe was where I stayed. In Hanapepe live the "Brothers"...families of brothers that I knew and enjoyed being with. Within the last year, two Dotimas brothers, Laurence "Cuppie" and David "Dote," have passed on. Dote had been a neighbor of mine in Kekaha, too and his sudden passing was quite a shock. "Death is a part and parcel of life"...but, that doesn't make it any easier for those left behind.

Last Saturday, on the 9th, Dote's wake was held at Salt Pond Park near Hanapepe.
