I'm typing this in my sleeping area outside Tumu Nu at Polihale. This is the view to my right through the window of my van:

I am beginning to develop a story: Boomerang Art of Kaua'i, a Pacific Traveler. Why not? I can publish it here. It starts out as fiction...I'll just start with an old traveler living in a van on a beach on an island in Polynesia.
...
A 69-year old geezer.
...
This old guy flys boomerangs and is known as Boomerang Art. He likes to travel and has created some kind of job which flies him to the places he likes. It used to take him from Ventura County in Southern California to the Hawaiian Islands to the Cook Islands to New Zealand and Australia then back by the same route. But after the tragedy of 9-11, flight schedules have been greatly reduced and the company through which he had obtained the flight packages went out of business. Now, he is planning to participate in another kind of Circle Pacific package.
Boomerang Art's job: Boomerang Pro. That's right, a boomerang professional for an obscure boomerang company, Aloha Rangs of Hawaii. He is the creator of Blue Chip Challenge, a boomerang competition event. He hopes to organize a competition to be held at Rainbow Retreat in Nimbin, New South Wales, Australia. He plans to be in Australia during their summer months.
Anyway, there can be quite a few story lines for the Boomerang Art story which I will begin to develop when I am on the mainland. Continuing...
Living as he does, he meets people from all over the world...just yesterday (on the 17th) he met, gave hiking information and photographed Fabian and Michelle from Bavaria. Michelle has offered to give him a guided tour if he should visit there. Anyway, here is the photo:

That same day he photographed the sunset. The young lady on the beach came to Polihale to experience and photograph a Polihale sunset.

And this is the sunset:

Not the best, but still worth seeing.

The next day, he set up his quick camp here:

This year, Boomerang Art wants to visit and photograph The Koh Chang Marine National Park off the coast of Thailand. Here is a description taken from the Internet:
...
"The Koh Chang Marine National Park is comprised of 52 islands, all of which are least exposed and best preserved in nature. Rich in rainforests, well-laden with colourful corals, abundantly stocked with healthy marine life, encompassed by spectacular coastlines, gorgeous landscape, pristine beaches and crystal clear sea, a visit to these islands is a journey back to nature. Fresh, tranquil and laid-back, these islands are most worthy of a holiday. However, only 10 of these islands are facilitated with accommodation..."

Here is a map of Koh Chang:
