I've been doing other things and haven't started going through the photos for this Artmail until today. I'll put up a few at a time then keep adding more as I edit them. They start on May 27th morning when Kolo wanted me to take photos of his pictures-in-the-woodgrain Makani, which means "wind."

As long as I had the camera out , I decided to take photos of the Purple Feather People I am "banding" for what happens later on with them. (The PFPs are part of a long-term project of mine. I haven't painted on them since these photos, but I'll get to that in time. As I put these photos on this page, I think "I have to update the PFP's pages." If I took time to do that now, Artmail 106 would not get finished in time. "In time" it's all going to come together...I'm working on it...in time).

Just about every day I get into the ocean and play in the waves...even the small ones. It's an important time and very enjoyable. It's part of living in my paradise is all about. I usually take my camera, but don't take photos...they are more of the same...like these that day:

I can see nice surnrise and sunset clouds from 15B, but it's not like being at the beach. I got my camera for this one, but the color got washed out. The photos do show how my boat lily patches are doing. They catch a few big leaves, but not many.

The 28th was a big day for Kekaha Elementary School...the Traditional May Festival. I took a lot of photos, but will put up just a few. (There are more photos from last year's HERE). That morning, the sugar cane company started its cane fires on the hills near Kekaha to begin the harvesting process. Here's a photo that day:
