Aloha all...
The winds got up to about 50 miles per hour at Polihale. It lifted Henri's dome tent about eight feet in the air and blew it to and hitting Cane Top Pavilion. I'm curious to see how my camping spot survived. I'm glad I wasn't there New Years Eve and after. Here are some photos I took when I left Polihale last week:

One of the problems with owning coconut palms is that they must be trimmed and the coconuts removed periodically. When the tree work was completed at Tashi's there were some palm tree scraps. I decided I would take some parts home and photograph them to put here so you could see from what a coconut develops.

When I was making this Artmail, I searched and searched through all my albums, but I couldn't find the photo of "Eddie's Tree's" first coconuts and flowers. I went through, what I thought, were the correct months...two or three times! Today, as I am working on something for Artmail 87, I found it...so, here it is:
