It was on July 20th that I decided to visit the Perfume Factory.

The next day I took photographs in two museums some of which I will post on other pages. In front of the new National Library, the Millennium Monument platform is bare. The controversial stone carving was removed.

I rode my Kawasaki back to Tiare Village on the Ara Metua. About 1000 years ago, a famous chief named Toi built the first and only road circling a Polynesian island. It was made out of coral block. Now, it is covered with asphalt. There are several places in my web pages where I'll have been on the Ara Metua and I will note it. Anyway, these photos are behind Avatiu.
