It was August 21st when I discovered Rarotonga's graffiti house. I don't know the story behind it, but I'm sure there is one. Anyway, I was on the Kawasaki heading this way...

Of course I looked in the open door and discovered where Rarotongans hide much of their graffiti.

The beauty of it is that the outside scenery isn't defaced. My images are a little bit "defaced." Earlier in the day, as I was leaving Tiare Village were I stayed for two weeks, I took a photo of Harriet, a chaletmate from the UK who was sunning by the pool. When I showed her the results I didn't do what I later learned to do...put the lens cap back on before showing the image. I didn't find out what happened until I downloaded the photos later on. A greasy smudge from the oil on Harriet's thumb which is not as bad the one below, but shows up in the above images.
